How It Works

Live classes.
Real feedback.
An actual community.

Each session is 2.5 hours live on Zoom with lectures, demos, and feedback spread across the week. You're in a room with other animators working through the same problems.

Sessions are recorded so you can reference anything later. But participating is where the real value is.

How to Enroll

Two Ways to Participate

Not everyone needs the full feedback loop. Full Participants submit work and get personal instructor feedback. Spectators attend every session at a lower cost, no submission requirement, but peer review is encouraged for everyone!

Spectator Mode
Every session at a lower cost

Attend everything, get the recordings, join the community. No individual instructor review, but you still get a lot.

From Past Courses with Sir Wade

FAQ

Common Questions

What's the difference between Full Participant and Spectator?

Full participants submit assignments and get personal instructor feedback from Sir Wade. Spectators attend all the same sessions, get recordings, and are part of the community; they just don't submit work for individual review. Peer feedback is encouraged across both modes.

Are assignments mandatory?

No, assignments are optional. For full participants, submitting is how you get instructor feedback, so it's encouraged. For spectators they're just for practice. Nobody's being graded.

What skill level is this for?

These are intermediate-to-advanced courses for animators who want to push further. If you're earlier in your journey, the Basics + Fundamentals class may be a better starting point.

What software is used?

Demos are primarily in Maya, but the principles apply across tools. Most of the material translates to Blender or Unreal Engine. Specific controls will differ, but the concepts are software-agnostic.

What if I miss a session?

All sessions are recorded and yours to keep. Showing up live is worth it when you can, but missing one won't leave you behind.
